Após o Big Brother dos EUA, através da FISA chega-nos agora o da UE

O blog do Marcos Marado, menciona a directiva da UE que hoje foi transposta para Portugal, tornando-nos no segundo estado a fazer uso dela, contrariando quer as opiniões da indústria (ISP’s nomeadamente), e especialmente as opiniões extremamente críticas, como se compreenderá, por parte da sociedade civil.

A The Foundation for a Free Information Infrastructure (FFII), indica na sua página que “O parlamento europeu aprovou hoje uma directiva que criará a maior base de dados de vigilância a nível mundial, monitorizando todas as comunicações dentro da UE “

The Data Retention Directive was passed by 378 votes to 197, following deals between the Council and the leaders of the two largest parties in Parliament, the EPP-ED (Conservatives) and the PSE (Socialists). The Rapporteur for the directive, Alexander Alvaro (Liberals) had his name removed from the report in protest.

Jonas Maebe of the FFII says: “Among other harsh measures, the directive mandates recording of the source and destination of all emails you send and every call you make, and your location and movement during mobile phone calls. Additionally, the directive says nothing about who has to pay for all this logging, which will significantly distort the internal telecommunications market.”

A directiva obriga que sejam guardados todos os dados relativos à origem e destino de todos os e-mails e chamadas telefónicas, bem como a localização e movimentação durante essas mesmas chamadas.

Tal como já havia referido numa entrada à dias sobre o Big Brother dos EUA através da recentemente aprovada FISA, com a introdução desta directiva europeia, estamos a caminhar a passos largos para a tal Nova (Des)Ordem Mundial, o tal Governo Único Mundial, que muitos mencionam e que a cada dia se torna mais presente e mais sufocante.

Porquê votaria eu contra o Tratado de Lisboa?

Já é conhecido o resultado final ao referendo sobre o Tratado de Lisboa levado a cabo na Irlanda, tal como se esperava prácticamente desde ontem, o NÃO ganhou.

Felicito os Irlandeses por tal decisão.

Mas quais as razões que me levariam a não votar neste tratado caso tivesse sido cumprido o que haviam prometido os maiores partidos portugueses, PS e PSD, de levar a cabo um referendo em Portugal?

1º O habitual incumprimento de promessas a que estes dois partidos já nos habituaram.
Prometeram um referendo, depois não o fizeram.
Quanto ao CDS/PP, apesar de nos dizer que queria um referendo, quando este foi a votos na Assembleia, abstiveram-se, porque não votaram contra?

2º A completa opacidade deste tratado, já olhei para ele, tendo-o puxado em formato PDF, não sendo eu da área jurídica, confesso que não percebo prácticamente nada do que este diz.
Não deveria um tratado ser explicito, tal como uma Constituição, um tratado ou constituição feito pelas pessoas e para as pessoas?

3º Este tratado nada mais é que a criação do primeiro Super-Estado a nível mundial, com uma constituição, um governo, um banco central (uma moeda), uma estrutura jurídica, um exército.
Parece que para estes senhores, estas elites, a Democracia é um conceito demasiado perigoso, colocar decisões nas mãos dos povos, nem pensar.

4º Porque razão não houve debates, explicações, sobre o que consistia o tratado, para que serve, o que ganhamos com ele, o que perdemos, a nossa Constituição estaria em causa, etc?

5º Este artigo, de Nile Gardiner, Ph.D. and Sally McNamara, “The EU Lisbon Treaty: Gordon Brown Surrenders Britain’s Sovereignty”, creio que apesar de ser escrito para o povo inglês, explica bem o porquê de se recusar este tratado ou tratados similares.

6º Por causa da maneira como estas elites burocráticas olham para a Democracia, ou melhor desrespeitam a Democracia e os cidadãos que oe elegem.

Esta afirmação é do presidente da Itália, Giorgio Napolitano, este senhor quer portanto fazer valer uma regra de um tratado que ainda nem sequer está em vigor, brilhante!!!
